Niezwykłą dla nas niespodziankę było przekazanie muzeum w depozyt 3 obrazów pochodzących z kolekcji Ernsta Claaszena. Obrazy te to portrety olejne, 2 z nich przedstawiają członków rodziny Claaszen, Rudolpha oraz jego brata, a także portret kobiety z widokiem Gdańska w tle, według przekazów rodzinnych małżonki malarza.
Museum of Sopot got the deposit 3 images that are associated with Gdansk bourgeois culture of the nineteenth century.
An unusual surprise for us was to give the museum a deposit of 3 images from the collection of Ernst Claaszen. These paintings are oil portraits, two of them represent the family members Claaszen, Rudolph and his brother, and the portrait of a woman with a view of Gdansk in the background, according to family remittances wife of the painter.
