17 czerwca 2013 odeszła nauczycielka tańców dawnych Barbara Sparti. Miała duży wpływ na moją naukę tańców. Po raz pierwszy spotkałam Barbarę w Krakowie na warsztatach tańców XVI - wiecznych tańców włoskich w 2006 roku. Od tamtej pory ciągle starałam się kształcić pod jej kierunkiem. Spotkałam ją w czasie kiedy musiałam odejść z zespołu, który tworzyłam w Gdańsku i byłam w nim prawie 6 lat. Czas ten wspominam źle i myślałam wtedy o definitywnym końcu z tańcem dawnym. Praca z Barbarą podczas co rocznych warsztatów spowodowała zmianę ale do tej pory nie założyłam żadnego zespołu, pracuję na własny rachunek, prowadząc prace badawcze związane z historią tańca w mieście w którym mieszkam.
June 17, 2013 died the former dance teacher Barbara Sparti. She had a big impact on my teaching dances. I first met Barbara in Krakow dance workshops sixteenth - century Italian dances in 2006. Since then he has always tried to educate under guidance. I met her at a time when I had to leave my dance group, which formed in Gdansk, and I was there almost six years. This time I remember thinking at the time wrong and end up with a final dance of the former. Work with Barbara during which the annual workshop resulted in a change but have not wore any team, working on their own account, conducting research on the history of dance in the city in which I live.
Dla mnie była wybitną osobą, tancerką, choreografem wreszcie naukowcem - praktykiem i doskonałym pedagogiem. Pod koniec lat 60 tych XX wieku założyła pierwszy zespół tańca dawnego, historycznego "Gruppo di Danza Rinascimentale". Razem z zespołem popularyzowała sztukę tańca, znana także jako wyjątkowy pedagog, który łączy pracę badawczą z praktyką. Na jej lekcjach można było się dowiedzieć nie tylko jak tańczyć dany krok ale także jego genezę. Barbara była też autorką niezliczonych artykułów i prac naukowych w tym także kilku książek wśród których dla mnie najważniejszą pozycją jest tłumaczenie traktatu Gugielmo Ebreo of Pesaro De pratica seu arte tripudii.
For me it was an outstanding person, dancer, choreographer, finally, a scientist - practitioner and an excellent teacher. At the end of the 60s of the twentieth century established the first dance team of the former, the historical "Gruppo di Danza Rinascimentale". Ostatni raz spotkałam ją podczas Rothenfelts Dance Symposium w 2012 roku w Niemczech, prowadziła tam wykład o Pawanie i jej "wędrówce po Europie".
